The use of media in education makes an impact on educational creativity development such as digital technology application, internet blogging. In this case, the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and create information using digital technology can be defined as digital literacy. In term of learning, digital literacy is the ability to understand and use digital technologies effectively for learning. Research has already explored the need for digital literacy in the classroom for example, how digital literacy can promote traditional language learning (Segers & Verhoeven, 2002). However, this recent paper tries to figure out how digital literacy implemented in reading skill. In 18th Century, digital literacy is as important a right for children today as reading where reading is increasingly an activity carried out using digital facilities rather than paper resources. Furthermore, the method used to describe the idea of this paper is conceptual paper in which the writer tries to figure out how the digital learning is implemented for learning. For gathering the data, the writer uses literature review from some journals articles, books written by the experts. In conclusion, applying digital literacy must be well prepared on the way how it is used. Indeed, once the students are familiar with technology used there is significant improvement with their skills.
